Growing up in 70s California, Dan fell in love with classic rock and loves it just as much now as he did then — he’s a vintage drum collector and has been playing for over 30 years — his influences of Walfredo De Los Reyes Jr., and Sal Rodriguez are now among his close friends.

Keith England wrote, recorded and toured with Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Allman Brothers Band, in addition to recording and touring with guitar hero Ronnie Montrose and most recently with legendary Spinal Tap bassist Derek Smalls. The road has indeed gone on forever. He now brings that wealth of musical knowledge and pedigree onstage to celebrate that rich history with The Midnight Rider Band, California’s premier Allman Brothers Live Tribute Band.

From playing clubs five nights a week at 17, in the 80s Louie signed to CBS Records with the band Felony, playing all the clubs on sunset strip in Hollywood. Their hit song ‘Fanatic’ made it to the top 40. Since then Louie has toured with many bands all over the US and Europe.

Johnny has been a professional drummer since 15, and is regarded by many as a first call when an energetic, versatile drummer is needed. Playing with the likes of Tower of Power, Hal Ketchum & Nelly Furtado, he’s also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist & audio engineer.

Dave has been in bands since high school playing the songs of Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, soaking up the guitar genius of Jeff Beck & Pat Travers — he loves the signature harmony guitar leads, the honest and pure, story-telling southern song themes of the Allman Brothers.

Native New Yorker Stuart Ziff has crafted a career as professional guitarist, songwriter and popular music historian. Stuart’s expertise lies in rock & roll, R&B, funk, blues and all points in between. A veteran sideman of 25 years, he has supported many legends, including Wilson Pickett and Charles Brown, and backed contemporary artists, emerging singer-songwriters as well as Broadway shows.

In 1994, he co-wrote the #1 single “Thinkin’ Problem” with country artist David Ball (Warner Bros.). Stuart has numerous recording credits as a guitarist, producer and vocalist in New York, Nashville and Los Angeles, and tours as guitarist for the legendary funk/R&B/Latin group War.

Growing up on Elton John, Billy Joel and the Allman Brothers Band, Robbie couldn’t keep away from the piano from childhood onward. Digging into blues and boogie piano gave him a solid foundation to approach Chuck Leavell’s parts. Having seen the Allmans live over a dozen times and being a devotee of the music, Robbie brings experience and depth on the keys to do the Allman Brothers music justice.

Filling the stage with excitement and professional musicianship is all part of an experience that feels as unique as the Midnight Rider Band — knowing the music so extensively means everything goes into the performances. Performances that are note perfect and note extraordinary.

We have through our musical and personal professional paths, made friends along the way, played along the way, friends who’ve stayed the whole way. Sharing a love for southern rock & the Allman Brothers and their music, performing together is a pure joy for all to see.
